Customer Review: Daewoo DR-2100P
Opened the box, connected the cables supplied and the machine done what it was supposed to do. I found it to be very “User Friendly” unlike the previous Philips DVD Recorder I had.
Setup was amazingly easy, recording and playback was very good.
Only a couple of irritating points,(a) the DVD drawer is very flimsy, could be made substantially stronger, (b) although adequate, some form of illuminated bar would be helpful to allow you to see what progress the disc is making, (c) the push buttons on the remote control a tad on the small size.
All in all a good machine at a good price.
Customer Review: Average DVD recorder for average Price
I purchased this product after returning a faulty Lite-On DVD recorder. This one seems good value for money. The only thing that it seems to lack is the ability to record to CDs to create VCDs or Audio CDs.
However, I’ve encountered a couple of problems during it’s first month or so.
Firstly, sometimes it refuses to format a new DVD RW and you may have to try up to four times to format it. The formatting problem doesn’t seem to be due to the make of disc as it happens with TDK, Memorex, Imation, LiteOn and Maxell discs.
The second problem is sometimes on recordings I’ve made with this DVD recorder the audio isn’t quite in sync with the visual, when it is in sync on the orginal source.
Also when recording or playing the display on the DVD recorder just says REC or PLAY, it doesn’t indicate the amount recorded or played, you have to call it up on the OSD.

Customer Review: No fast forward when viewing AVI/DivX movies
One killer feature this recorder has is DivX playback, which in my mind makes it different from the usual supermarket combos. But unfortunatly you cannot fast forward when you are viewing an AVI/DivX movie!!! You would be better off with one from Asda!
Customer Review: Lot of Effort on behalf of MKA.
The company did a first class job in getting to grips with the carriers that evevtually found and delivered a good piece of gear, superb for what I wanted the unit for. Now lots of time is needed in gradually turning my VHS recordings into DVD. There seems nothing that MKA will do to get a satisfied customer.
