JVC DR-M10SEK DVD Recorder - Silver

JVC DR-M10SEK DVD Recorder - Silver
Customer Review: Don’t get me started
….on JVC DR-M’s - I have had 5 in all!!!! either DVD or DVD HDD recorders and each one has developed serious faults. I have had no help, in fact JVC have been confusing, unprofessional and completely uncaring about a machine of theirs which frankly isn’t cheap.
I have had green bleeding in to the picture, “Loading” messages for hours and days on end and have now finally just lost the fifth machine completely
DON’T EVER BUY A JVC DR-M DVD/HDD RECORDER…..EVER
Customer Review: loading….loading
i have returned this unit to jvc 4 times (?20 postage each time) and it always lasts a few months and then gets an error flashing ‘loading…loading’. even after replacing the unit with a new unit each time it still happens so it is a manufacturing fault that jvc do not know how to fix.
when it works….great. i feel however it was a big mistake buying this dvdr.

Customer Review: Buyer be vary aware
I do not normally buy product insurance, but in this case I did. Silly foolish me. The gist of discontent is that I believe this item was mis-sold. All the wording was innuendo and lacked any substance. i.e. Title = 2 year extended warranty.. Product Features: Cover following the the EXPIRY of the manufacturers guarantee. Nether of these statement’s are fully true in that the insurance only provides 1 year extended warranty. Now I was unsure of taking this insurance but I thought this gives me 3 years peace of mind, so if I had a failure of the DVD / VCR combi recorder between 12 and 36 months I would not have to pursue the manufacturer under the Consumer protection legislation as I expect an item of its price and per ported quality to last in full working order for 3 years. After all a large proportion of E.U. manufacturer’s now give 3 year warranty as standard. Also the DVD /VHS combi recorder I purchase on Amazon was a REFURBISHED item and whilst it was new and came with the manufactures 12 month warranty nether the product features nor the policy document refer to this classification although the policy document does say only NEW ( but then you have to buy it to see that). Neither Allianz (the under-writer)or Amazon (insurer) were prepared to state if this classification was covered or not! The fact that Amazon failed to clearly spell out classifications covered and those excluded also what was covered from when until the expiry of the insurance, which would have been so easy to do in the Product features section leaves me questioning the quality of Amazon products and services. After all shouldn’t all product descriptions be clear, unambiguous and factual. Whats easier than saying; *This items is covered for breakdown for a further 12 months after the manufactures warranty expires. *This item is covered for accidental damage for 24 months from date of purchase. *Only New (and Refurbished) items are covered. Used and Second hand items are excluded I shall be terminating this insurance.

Customer Review: Flawless recording and Divx Playback
I am so glad to have taken Ellion 530S. Good value for such features including variety of connections that makes my life easy for connections with TV and other set-top boxes. I have had no problems in having copied so many programs into blank dvds and divx playback is a bonus. Picture quality is quite good and region free setting is handy. Definitely one of the best dvd recorders in the market
Customer Review: DO NOT BUY!!!!
I bought this a while ago, the first one I got didn’t even switch on so they replaced it. The second one worked ok for about 5 months and I have nothing but trouble with it since….it only records when and if IT feels like it - it has no consistancy it reads a disk fine one time and then put the same disk in 2 mins later and it says disk is not compatable! It’s a very expensive DVD PLAYER NOT RECORDER unless you only want it for 5 months. Please save your money a buy a decent one - that’s what I’ve had to do!!!
