Customer Review: Great value - great picture
I knew that any new LCD TV was going to be an improvement on my very old Mitsubishi set but I had not expected it to be so good. The picture is very sharp with great colours. The remote is easy to use and the amount of picture ‘tweeking’via the remote is more than good enough for me. I think that the sound quality is very good too but maybe this is because its in a small room. Before buying the Philips, I had looked at Panasonics but to be honest the difference in price was significant. I really do think that this TV is great value. It has great picture quality and is very stylish with a polish black surround and glass base. Also, Amazon are ?130 cheaper than Tesco!!!
Customer Review: Looks great but average performer
Coming out of the box this TV looks great. It has a shiny black lacquered border which leads to a stylish silver tapered body. It has a auto install facility which means you will be up and running in minutes. However the picture quality is unremarkable. The picture is by no means poor but compared to my Hitachi 7200 and my panasonic TX-32LXD70 It fails to impress despite the hype. There is a huge improvement in picture quality with digital sources which is what one would expect however the picture enhancement modes lacks the WOW factor. A pretty good set but there are a lot of sets in this price range which will give you a lot more bang for your buck.
Shinco DVB-100T Digital Freeview TV tuner Silver

Customer Review: Slim portable lighweight
This Tuner works magic with my 1720 c. Very easy to set up just plug in with the cables supplied and follow a simple automated set up screen. I bought mine becuase i am constantly travelling on trains so far the tuner has had no problems picking up signals. The Unit itself is self powering so there is no extra power pack making this fully portable. I am happy with the quality and would reccomend this to anyone. For those who havent got a 1720c it also works with a sdp 1280 & sdp 2002.
Customer Review: good value for money
I have had one these TV tuners for a few weeks now. They are very easy to set up just plug in go through an automatic set up screen and enjoy. These TV tuners are more suited to be used outside where the signal is a lot stronger. I managed to pick up all 35 channels first time without any problem I would recommend this to anyone.
