Customer Review: Amazing piece of kit
Connecting this item to my main loft aerial, scanning it found a total of 67 TV and Radio channels, comparing it with the PC tv cards that i have had in past the, picture is the best i have seen, at the press of a button i recorded a tv program to my hard drive in Mpeg, picture perfect.

connecting the external aerial was a different matter, i had to find the best place for reception after several scans the best it could do was 37 channels the worst it found only 4, but what it did find gave a perfect picture, i was amazed at what a good picture this little aerial could give, i think if you live in an area with a week signal you may not get anything at all with the external aerial, i can see why it was voted top dog by What Hi-Fi & What Video mags

Customer Review: Great piece of kit.
This piece of kit used with Vista Media Centre is a fantastic combination

makes it worth having Vista.

The only drawback is the Blaze software that came with the tuner it has Vista power option issues.

So dont use the Blaze software just use the Media centre and it is fantastic.

Customer Review: Where it belongs
Yes I bought one of these and it’s now on the local rubbish dump where it belongs. It never worked.
Customer Review: Elegant and nice!
I was in the market for a good quality portable DVD player for my daughter and stumbled on this Xoro gem which also comes with Freeview TV and whole host of other useful features. The player looks really smart and feels robust. The screen gives very good pictures. The unit’s seven-day electronic programme guide is easy to operate and the tuner only takes a couple of minutes to locate the TV and radio channels. The player comes with its mini-aerial, and like all digital sets, this TV does have to be in strong signal area to receive TV preogrammes. Other features include an SD card reader so one can view their photos as a slideshow. There are two headphone jacks which is handy if you have two kids who want to watch a DVD at the same time when you are driving! The only area that is not allowing me to give it 5 stars is the TV reception in poor signal areas (not the players fault mind you!). Overall very pleased and recommended.

Customer Review: Rip-Off
Do not buy this TV from this seller! The TV is not worth ?1,304.25 that they are asking. Everyone else is selling it for around the ?500 mark.
Customer Review: All good, apart from the sound
I’ve owned this TV for about 6 months - bought as it was good value (?400) and took up loads less space than my old CRT. The picture is great for the price, and the cabinet looks superb with its glossy piano black finish. My only complaint is the weedy speakers - you really need to hook it up to an external amp and speakers - until then it drove me mad. Watching DVDs with the inbuilt speakers, I usually had to put the subtitles on otherwise speech was muffled (and no I’m not deaf!). But assuming you’re not going to rely on the internal speakers it’s a briliant buy.

Geniatech X8000T PCI Freeview HDTV & Analogue TV & FM Radio 3-in-One Card - Support Windows Vista
Geniatech X8000T is a DVB-T + Analogue TV + FM 3-in-One TV/Radio card enabling you to turn your PC to a digital TV and DVD recorder. The digital tuner/receiver enables you to watch over 30 Freeview channels and listen to over 20 digital radio stations in areas where the signal is strong. The analogue tuner/receiver allows you to watch analogue TV in traditional way (in areas not covered by Freeview service yet or the signal insufficient) and listen to FM Radio stations. You can record your favourite TV programmes on your hard drive by instant, with time-shifting and schedule recording modes. It comes with a software CD, a portable TV antenna, FM radio antenna and remote control with receiver cable. All you need to do is to plug the device to a PCI slot of your computer, insert the CD and install the software by following the instructions. Your computer will start working immediately for you as a high-definition TV and DVD recorder. There may be difficulty to receive freeview TV signal by the included portable antenna in some areas where the signal is not sufficiently strong. This is due to that the freeview service (www.freeview.co.uk) in the UK is not fully operating yet. The reception will be improving along with the progress of Digital Switchover Program. A signal amplifier or booster may improve reception capability in regions where the signal is marginally strong. (please note that reception capability may also be affected by various factors such as proximity to freeview TV/digital radio transmitters, tall building structures, thick walls, ceilings and etc.). A rooftop TV aerial may be required to watch freeview channels in regions where the signal is insufficient for a portable antenna.
