The freeView Power Env module adds an external modem port and a temperature and humidity sensor to the freeView Power 80. The environmental sensor is integrated with the freeView Power 80 Web interface, allowing the unit to automatically turn individual ports on or off if the ambient temperature or humidity exceeds preset limits. For example, if the server room starts to get too warm, the freeView Power 80 can turn on a fan to cool down the room, and turn servers off to prevent them from overheating.
