The reception will be improving along with the progress of Digital Switchover Program (http://www.digitaltelevision.gov.uk). A signal amplifier or booster may improve reception capability in regions where the signal is marginally strong. (Please note that reception capability may also be affected by various factors such as proximity to freeview TV/digital radio transmitters, tall building structures, thick walls, ceilings and etc.). A rooftop TV aerial may be required to watch freeview channels in regions where the signal is insufficient for a portable antenna.

I have been looking for a TV and DVD combi for my caravan for quiet a while. This one meets all my requirements. It receives analogue and freeview TV channels, plays DVD discs plus music, photos from my USB dongle and SD cards. Brilliant picture quality and stereo sound, perfectly for my caravan. We have experienced Freeview signal difficulty in some places, but it all sorted out when connecting to a portable amplified antenna. Now I can enjoy the football when staying with my family at caravan sites. I am really glad I have bought this TV.
