Customer Review: A good buy
I bought this 40″ Sony Bravia model for ?670.00 and it is worth every penny. I have noticed the price of it changes so I would wait until the price drops to ?670.00 again and buy it quickly. It auto tunes all the freeview channels for you and you soon get used to the remote functions. There is a slightly poorer picture quality on fast moving images like watching football but having spoken to friends with different models, they all seem to suffer from this but it still doesn’t spoil the viewing. DVD quality is excellant. I havn’t got a massive living room and my wife was worried that a 40″ would be too big but once fixed to the wall it doesn’t look out of place or look too big. I am 100% happy with this TV and fully recommend it if you have a tight budget.

A friend bought a Samsung 40″ LCD TV. I thought it was very impressive and start looking into purchasing one. I wanted good quality for a good price and I read a number of the reviews for the various models and brands. I started to settle on the Sony Bravia U2000 as good quality for a good price. I have been very impressed with the ease of use and the clarity of picture. I have also used it to watch an AVI from my MacBook Pro and the picture quality was very impressive. I have been so impressed that I am already looking at purchasing a 20″ version for my bedroom.

Customer Review: Great tv/Great value
Recieved on time[good old amazon], took just 10 minutes to set up it is fantastic, at present on analog[no freeview in my area]the picture is outstanding with just my rooftop arial, should have got one a long time ago, would recomend to anyone with a PC and no tv card, just plug in and it’s all systems go.
Customer Review: But be careful with Vista
The product worked fine on my Dell with XP as its operating system. I had to connect the main house aerial but thereafter picked up 66 channels. However when I tried to use it with my new computer (also Dell) it gave a great picture but corrupted the DVD driver such that it disappeared. I had to restore to prior to the software installation. The remote control would not work either. The lesson is that the software is just not compatible with Vista and this was confirmed by the Freecom. If you have Vista or expect to upgrade in the fore-seeable future then do not buy this product.

I really dont know why there are people that dont like this TV. The picture quality is great, The sound quality is great and the built in freeview is excellent and i dont even have an outside ariel. Its a fantastic product and delivery was very fast.
Customer Review: What’s the problem?
I was a little reluctant to purchase this particular tv due to negative reviews by other users. However, I decided to ignore the comments about sound, menu response, grainy picture etc and am so glad I did. Firstly, there is no grainy picture on my freeview whatsoever and the movie mode really does add a lot of depth and high quality to what you are watching (without HD). If you are the type of person who feels that waiting a single second for a menu to appear after pressing the button then this TV is obviously not for you but for the rest of you who are patient enough to endure this length of time then you will have no problems at all! If you are a human-bat hybrid and can detect super-sonic sounds then you may find that the quality may be lacking but for the rest of us who are merely human then the sound has no problems at all. I have purchased many items from amazon such as cameras, ipods, headphones etc and not one item has 100% positive feedback. I have spoken to many friends who have purchased samsung TVs, all of which have praised them. To have freeview, High definition on a 23″ LCD TV with touch sensitive buttons and sleek design for this price, you must be mad to listen to the bad comments
