Customer Review: PRICE HIKE!!!!
Can’t believe that this was well over ?100 less a few weeks ago. I was going to buy it. Saved my money and now……………….I dont believe it!!!!!

Customer Review: Superb
I purchased this television to replace my old crt television in my bedroom, as well as buying it for the new consoles.

I have to say I was not disappointed by this television at all, the picture quality is superb, the menus are simple to use and the freeview guide system is better than a lot of others.

As for vouching on its lifespan, i’ve only owned this from august so its too early to say, I will however mention that I find that sony products are built to last.

Customer Review: TOP QUALITY KIT
I have had this TV for 3 months now and it a lovely piece of kit. The DNile technology makes all the difference. It enhances the picture quality to a superb clarity and definition.I purchased the HD sampler DVD here off Amazon and the quality is breathtaking. It checks to see if you have set the TV up properly. I have my X-Box 360 and the Wii connected into it and the graphics are brilliant. I also have my 5.1 Dolby system connected to it via the optical link connections and the sound is banging!!!!!! Turn it up to 11………. There are loads of different connections for all your needs with 3 HDMI connections too. All in all its a real beauty for your 2 Grand of hard earned cash. You won’t be dissapointed. The best option is like I have done and that is wall mount it but dont compromise on a cheap bracket because you dont want it to fall off the wall if the bracket fails!!!!!! I paid ?260 for a fully tiltable and swivel bracket and I’m so glad I did. A 100% thumbs up from me.
Customer Review: Quite Happy with it
I have had my Samsung 52 inch LCD for about two weeks now, and I am very happy with it. I noticed some clouding when viewing a black screen–however, this clouding is not noticeable when watching an actual TV/Mobie program. I also count 2 dead pixels. Again, dont notice when watching a program. I believe under Samsung policy must have at least 10 dead pixels before they count as defective and worthy of warraty repair/replacement. The above issues are again only noticeable on close inspection, but not affecting my viewing pleasure. Watching some regular DVD-9 films look fantastic on this machine. New releases such as Crank really show off the high res ability of this HDTV. I am expecting my Playstation 3 any day now with a bunch of Blu Ray movies and expect to be very pleased. The two HDMI inputs will be helpful as I can connect my PS3 to one while leaving my regular DVD player connected on the other HDMI. The swinging stand is also quite handy as I can swivel the TV to either face my desk or my bed depending on where I am in my bedroom. The Sony XBR which I was also considering does not have the swivel in its stand, nor does the Sharp Aquous. By comparison to the other LCDs, I would rate picture quality of the Samsung just a notch below the Sony (even though I understand both makers use the same LCD manufacturer). The Samsung is much better than the Sharp Aquous 52 inch I saw on display with blacker blacks and overall better, brighter color and contrast. I am currently having a new issue with the Samsung. Ever since connecting my iPod, the TV while in Dynamic mode will constantly shift colors. Similar effect to playing a copy-protected video tape, or a PAL program on an NTSC machine. I expect there is some setting that needs to be changed. Since I do not use the Dynamic setting anyway (Movie mode is my preference), I am again not directly affected. Overall Very satisfied.

Customer Review: Excellent picture & value
As no-one else has reviewed this, and I’ve recently purchased, I thought I would take the time to review. Received this set yesterday, and found the set-up as easy as you would expect with a modern TV. Plug & play setup worked effortlessly, found all the Freeview channels, even though I live in a poor reception area. The controls are all logical, and don’t require any reference to the manual. Picture quality is excellent - sharp, with good contrast and deep colours. Sound quality seems fine, though I’ve only watched TV so far, no DVD’s yet. Aesthetically, the TV is well designed and looks as good as any other sets out there. I don’t consider myself an audiophile or expert on picture quality, but then neither are most people who would buy this TV, so if you don’t want a huge TV, that looks good, with built in Freeview, around ?400 this will not disappoint. In reply to questions: Yes this accepts a normal RF aerial (that’s what I’ve got) and No, I have not tried to link it to any computers (PC or Mac) or consoles
