Fashion Now: v. 2
Customer Review: letters for horses…
My sight is pretty good but the letters in this book are so small that I can hardly read the text. And I have no trouble reading other books! Acctually the letters remind of ‘fine print’ in contracts. So since horses see things in a much bigger scale this book must have been intented for them. So please don’t sell it as a human book anymore…
With regards
Angelika
Customer Review: Fashion Now - Why you should buy it.
Fashion Now, attracted me because it has been put together by the team behind I-D magazine, which i already read religiously and love.
The book gives the reader an in-depth and and down to earth view in to the world and motivation driving each designer. It documents not only famous faces such as Donnatella Versace and Jean-Paul Gaultier, but less well known designers who have only been in the business a few years.
This book is an invaluble read for anyone who is interested in the fashion industry and wants more information about the up and comming stars and their ideas.
In addition, the book is put together wondefully, the layout and colour all help to make this a really modern book that reflects and compliments its content.

Customer Review: Nice Network-Entertainment System Link
I bought this device to do 2 specific things. 1) To access music files on the computer network and play through the home entertainment system. 2) To convert/digitize a large library of VHS tapes to access on network computers and on various devices. This device has gone above and beyond what I expected of it. It easily plays the music stored on the network. The on screen interface isn’t perfect but takes very little time to understand how it works so you can make it work the way you want. It converts VHS tapes quickly and easily storing them exactly how you want onto a variety of storage media. Works well with DVDs and tv shows as well. I feel the strength of this device is the way it easily links the entertainment system (mostly analog equipment) and the home computer network (digital) and lets you take control of your media. It has so many features that you won’t see in other devices that the few limitations you may see (no HD recording and slighly clunky menu navigation to name a few that others have pointed out) should be forgiven. I like to think of this as jack-of-all-trades master-of-none. That isn’t a fault, just an observation. I know I wouldn’t spend money to buy a single device just to watch YouTube videos on the TV or view picture slideshows from the digital camera. But when those features are included in a device that continues to improve and develop through firmware updates I think it is a great purchase that will get a lot of use for many people, myself included. I don’t see this as a device that will grow stale and not get used. It is fully functioning out of the box and who knows what will get added in the future.
Customer Review: Finally
We all have files on our computer that we would like to view on something larger than a computer screen. This device gives you the capibility to do that. From pictures to video and even a link to YouTube, you can watch any of them fairly easily either via thumb drive, SD card, usb HD, or directly from your computer. Mine is actually setup to my network (connected by cable to my wireless router) and I can view and play files on any computer with shared files. One note about the shared files, when initally connected to the Nerous it would ask for a username and password. I did not have a password setup on my computer so I would put in the username and hit enter. It would fail to see my computer saying I had the incorrect username/password. I found that when I went back and actually setup a password and entered that information it worked fine. Their documentation could be better explaining some issues that would lead people less technically inclined to struggle a bit. As far as the quality of the output, I was a bit disappointed in the picture quality of photos being displayed. I have an 8mp Canon EOS and was hoping the photos would look awsum on a big HD screen but the clairity was quite poor. Video however is satisfactory. It’s by no means HD quality since it only has RCA cable output, a design I would love to see change to HDMI in future models. I purchased this unit mainly to play back video files from my computer on a big screen and have not used the recording cabibilities so I have no opinion on those. This is by no means a top of the like piece of electronics and at under $170 it never will be, but it is a very convenient device to allow you to view video, from one computer or a network, on a big screen.
