Like many reviewers here I was impressed with the size, appearance and performance of this mp3 player. I bought some fairly decent headphones to go with the Creative Zen Stone and was surprised in a very positive way by how it sounded. At first. UNFORTUNATELY… Like several other buyers here, the Creative Zen Stone 1gb mp3 player gave up the ghost in a matter of only a few months. First it skipped between tracks without playing anything and then simply stopped. I would *not* recommend this item because of its *very* poor reliability and endurance. No matter how inexpensive it might be at the time of purchase, it just doesn’t excuse total failure in less than six months of careful use. Before being swayed by them, ask yourself how many of the positive reviews here might have been written in the first flush of optimism, before the player caved in (but I wish continued good luck to those whose players still work). PS: I also bought the silicone skin to protect the player and its clip broke on first use without ill-treatment. (BUT… The Sennheiser HD202 ‘phones were *exceptionally* good for their very low price)

Never spend my time writing reviews but thought i owed it to the little Zen. Been putting off the ipod thing because of cost and i only want some upbeat tunes to get me in the zone at the gym.After reading the great reviews on the Zen i thought why not it’s not much compared to an ipod, well let me tell you it was some of the wisest money i’ve spent, how refreshing that a company are making a gadget that doesn’t cost the earth and performs like ones that do, my only very slight moan is u may need to upgrade your earphones if your a bass nut.To sum up great looking piece of kit that performs like ones 5 times the price, you won’t regret it.

Customer Review: Great for music!
This is one of the most popular of portable music playing devices and as such you will find alot of accesories and gadgets for it making it very adaptable. since all the music you use will be synced of your itunes it means you can just plug it in and let it charge while you listen to the songs of itunes wich is helpful. to the other review the ipod does not come with a charging bay it is charged through your computer alough you can buy a bay if thats what you want to use or a normal adapter. You dont need to get softwere from this package as the only thing you need is itunes avalible from the apple site. itunes will automaticly detect a conected ipod and if your setting are right it will sync with your itunes (you ipod will gain/remove song acording to whats on itunes) so just keep your itunes upto date and your ipod will be too. hope that helped
