Customer Review: Pathetic file format, slow scroll & terrible screen
I bought the 20GB version so as to not be yet another buying the ipod. What a *huge* mistake. 1. Oh so slow at navigating compared to an ipod. 2. You *cannot* see the screen at all in sunlight. 3. Forget buying music from anywhere else - this will not support mp3 formats - just atrac3 - OH!!! - Sony have just announced they’re not supporting their own file format anymore. Please - get an ipod - I have. Bought an 80GB Classic today and did something I should have done 2 years ago. Total rubbish.
Customer Review: nice little player
Quite a nice little player, sound quality is good and its pretty small and neat. But beware of sonic stage…I downloaded version 4.3 and it crashed at startup and would not detect my player but luckily I found version 4.2 and that worked ok…a lot of faffing about but I got there in the end.

This is a great little unit, with superb sound quality for the size. The battery life is amazing and the time ton recharge (from USB port) can’t be beaten. The earphones are of good quality (although jumping on the ipod bandwagon being white!) with great bass and tone. Once you get used to the controls, it is extremely easy to navigate around and you can find most features relatively quickly. This is perfect for the gym due to it’s size and weight. On the other side, sadly I have to say after owning Sony Mp3’s for many years now that I regret the day I ever chose Sony. This is all down to the terrible Sonicstage software. Yes it is easy to use, but it limits you to Sony hardware for the rest of your life (unless you want to reload hundreds of Cd’s onto your computer) and sadly ever since I loaded the version of sonicstage that came with this MP3 onto my computer it has made all newly recorded albums skip and jump and it no longer allows me to transfer previously loaded albums onto my new MP3! Frustrating in the extreme. So overall, great MP3 player, terrible software.
Customer Review: Good Purchase
I’m more than happy with this product. If all you are looking for is a simple device to transfer some of your music onto this is perfect, i’m a novice when it comes to technology and this works fine for me. I don’t find it a hassle or a pain. It doesn’t hold a mega amount of music but it works just fine for me.

iRhythm A461 - iPod Portable Docking Speaker - Black
Portable, yet another stunning product delivering rich sound - the new A460/461 series from the makers of well known Cyber-Acoustics - iRhythms.. With a total system power of 6 watts, (3 watts each), using 2 Neodymium Micro Drivers, it has got the power to fill a room with quality sound whilst maintaining it’s portability for travel. Not forgetting, that it can charge your ipod and sync whilst listening to your favourite music. What more..?? It can run off the batteries on move! (Batteries not included) and comes with almost 7 inserts for various ipod models.

Customer Review: Good value&good sound - shame about the annoying plug.
I have just recently bought these speakers for myself and i am pleased with the sound, price and quality of them. There is only one thing that bothers me about them, the plug makes a buzzing sound when you switch it on. It doesn’t effect the sound when the speakers are playing music, but when they are just on to charge the ipod, the sound is really irritating. I’m not sure if it is a fault with my speakers or if it happens with every single set. It would be interesting to hear if other sets have the same problem.

Customer Review: Sounds good, but power and dock connections are weakest link
Sound is great! portability no problem, but I had a problem with the power pack supplied. The power lead has a continental European two-prong plug with a slide-on UK adapter. When I first plugged the unit in, nothing happened. By elimination I worked out that the UK adapter was faulty. I could not be bothered to return the whole unit to Amazon, so I replaced the adapter and the unit’s fine now. Note that the cheaper model ( I paid ?31.99) does not come with a remote control. Also, the ipod nano needs to put into the dock rather carefully, holding the unit in one hand : if you just try to push it in from above, it’s fiddly and can’t be done without risking damage to the ipod. That having been said, I’m very happy with this purchase.
