Philips DCP750 7″ Portable DVD iPod Video Docking Entertainment System
Zero Bright Dot? screen for optimal screen quality / Dolby Digital for ultimate movie experience / Slim and lightweight design thanks to a built-in battery

Customer Review: Nice portable player, can be made multiregion (instructions)
This portable player has good quality audio and picture, and, unusually for a portable player, a pretty nice remote control with number buttons on it, which fits nicely into the ipod dock.

I don’t have an ipod so haven’t checked that feature.

The battery is non-removable, which makes this portable lighter than many. Also the screen can be swivelled right round and put flat on top of the body of the machine, which is convenient to hold.

Most importantly for me (I bought this because attempts to make my old portable player multiregion failed miserably!), it can be handset hacked to play DVDs from all regions as follows:

press setup

navigate to the preferences page using the right arrow.

type 9 6 5 3

select region using the up and down arrows (select 0 for multi-region)

press ok

:)
