Customer Review: Superb little “go-anywhere” camera
Just the best camera I have used; it has relegated my Fuji S7000 to the bedroom drawer. It fits neatly into a reasonable sized pocket and has a metal case! Haven’t read the manual; absolutely no need if you have ever used a digital camera. Results are of the highest quality. Only niggle is why Samsung don’t use the same link cable for all their cameras, my daughter has a cheaper model, and the link cable although similar doesnt fit.
Customer Review: Be sure to get insurance!
Being a poor poor student, I opted out of getting insurance for my NV10 that I purchased from eBay - sorry amazon! but it was ?50 cheaper at the time. Anyway I didn’t bother because I always take good care of my gadgetry, but this was a mistake I shan’t make again. I didn’t realise that in a small %age of NV10, there’s an inherent software ( i assume) problem, that cuts in at random for no particular reason where the lens cover refuses to open - gettin stuck, and the lens motor doesn’t operate, so doesn’t “pop” out when turned on. It still lets you view photos on the memory card and onboard memory, but doesn’t allow picture taking, it just comes out as a blur before the camera turns itself off.
When i went to get it looked at, the camera shop said that it’d cost more than the camera was worth to repair it, so I’ve had to opt out for a cheaper Samsung D75, costing ?70 instead of the ?180 the NV10 cost a year ago. The eBay shop owner wouldn’t contact me back (they had their positive feedback, they didn’t need anything else). All this because I didn’t purchase some cheap insurance…
The NV10 is an absolutely FANTASTIC camera and has served me for 1000+
top-class photos in the 8months I had it, but it has to be said that the microphone cuts out on video at random intervals. It’s more of a photo camera, but the finger-slidey control system is pretty funky and the decent-sized screen isn’t to be sniffed at.

this is a fantastic little digital camera. So easy to use with good instructions, This is the second digital camera i own (the first was a Hewlett Packard with sliding lens cover) and i was amazed at the quality of photos with a choice of colour scheme to boot!!! hopefully it will last longer than the previous one (one year).Purhcase the cover along with the camera, just for that extra care as i always carry my camera with me.
Customer Review: Easy handling, fantastic image quality
This is my first digital camera. I was looking for something that would be easy to use - not too many complicated, irrelevant features - and give me good picture quality. I haven’t been disappointed. This is a lovely, neat little camera with a nice, solid feel. The menus are simple to navigate, and besides the automatic point-and-shoot setting (which seems to cope awesomely well in all conditions), it offers 15 different picture options to overcome difficult lighting situations, like sunsets and snow glare and low-light interiors, plus various portrait options and a powerful macro for close-ups. The camera has an impressive capacity, and takes the most stunning pictures, with superb colour balance, detail and resolution. You can also record audio and video. It’s so good that it’s almost made me favour digital over film, but not quite!
