It works but thats about all I can say about it. If you are using it to video very slow moving objects in very bright light then you should be OK. I suggest you save up an extra ?300 and buy something that you’ll be pleased with.

Customer Review: Great camera
This is my first digital camera bought for a trip to the USA. Have to say its taken the most amazing pictures. I’m definatly no expert and admit to using it mostly in Auto mode, that said, the advantages of being able to learn more and use it manually is great meaning that as I hope to progress I won’t have to upgrade my camera. Picture quality is very clear and a trip to Isle of Mull taking quick pictures of Otter I managed to produce images worthy of being used as the wallpaper on my computer. In comparison to my dad’s very expensive SLR, the difference in the same picture taken in the snow was amazing and has convinced him to go and buy one! as it was such a good photo. The only down side is the batteries, I’d recommend talking to a reputable dealer as to which ones are best as I found that the wrong rechargables will go flat VERY QUICKLY, especially if its very cold. That said the supplied Sony ones are brilliant. Also, buy a big memory card. It doesn’t come with a camera case and I did buy the one designed for this camera but found that it made the camera quite bulky and had no where to store spare batteries. Also,I carry my camera with me outside I was worried about protecting it against knocks, scratches and rain. I’ve now got a Tamrac Velocity 6, which is like a small rucksac and is great for carrying the camera, batteries, mobile phone, wallet and any other small items. Overall, a brilliant camera, really good buy.

I bought this camera brand new off ebay for about ?150. I did my research and have to say this is the best camera i have ever owned. The only problem is when you want to see what you have recorded on the LCD screen the volume is very low other than that i cant fault this faboulous piece of technology by Sony. I am very impressed with the quality of the video recording you recieve especially when you view it on your computer using real player, it beats spending hundreds of pounds for a camcorder. It takes AA batteries that are cheap to buy and lasts ages. You will need a camera case as it does not come with one and some sony memory stick pro duo cards. The image stabalization is incredible and the picture and video quality is outstanding. Just so you can imagine how good the video quality is, I can record whatever is on the telly and the display shows it as clear as you see it through your own eyes. Video Quality - Excellent Picture Quality - Excellent Sound Quality - Not Good Battery Life - Excellent Image Stabalization - Excellent What more can you ask for from a camera.
