Customer Review: Only Works With Windows XP2
What shocked me about Adobe Premiere Elements 3 (PC) is the fact that it will only work with Windows XP2. I loaded Adobe Premiere Elements 3 (PC) onto my computer and after the huge amount of registration headaches I found that my operating system would have to be upgraded to XP2, even though this is NOT made very clear on the amazon.co.uk web site. After upgrading to XP2 things seem to be working fine, though now I find that Canon camcorder movies are not compatible with Adobe Premiere Elements 3 (PC), despite my reading online that they are compatible. Frustration!!

I’ve used Premiere Elements 3 to create around 15 short videos this year, with a wide range of effects. This is an excellent product for the price and also well worth investing some time to learn its intricacies.

A note to Richard Elmes’ customer review: Yes, you can change the volume of individual clips (even on a frame-by-frame basis if you want to). You may get better feedback posting specific technical queries like that on the relevant Adobe forum, rather than as a product review on Amazon…
