Customer Review: See the Visual effects, then Superlatives are superfluous
This is an impressive suite of media editing tools that repays the little effort it takes to learn. The manual is indispensable and helps accelerate learning. All ULEAD products are worth using if you want really professional and stunning visual effects. Having used the quirky, feature laden Magix and excellent Pinnacle Studio 9, it is safe to say that MediaStudio surpasses them both for depth and quality of results. It is professional editing software that was great value at ?198.

Coming from a web designers background I first had a look at pinnacle and videostudio both ok for basic editing but quickly saw the limitation as I couldn’t do most of the things I wanted (multi layers of video and audio). I discovered this product MS7 (an absolute steal at ?89) it has no restrictions and I can do anything I can think of. It’s a bit harder to get into than the basic programs but it’s worth learning from the online tutorials at ulead.com (after a few tutorials it’s incredibly easy to use). It comes with Infinity (a macromedia flash like program) & video paint to do rotoscoping effects (light saber glows). But best of all you can combine macromedia flash files, photoshop and 3D (I use swift 3D) graphics progs for amazing effects ive been mimicking channel 4’s transition effects with their 4 logo with my own logo and HP picture frame trick. I can follow tutorials for adobe premiere and work out a way to do it in MS7. I cant rate this prog high enough especially since version 8 will be out soon get this now for a cheap upgrade. PS after you buy download the latest patch (patch 3) from www.ulead.com, which has some nice upgrades and bug fixes

If like me you are looking for a camera that you can adjust every setting similar to an expensive SLR to achieve the perfect shot but your partner does not share the same camera savvy and only wants to point and fire then go no further as this camera has everything you could want and more that you might try for the first time at an unbeatable price. the canon powershot range comes with a free on-screen error message, “e18″, which basically means that the lens is jammed and nothing can be done about it. avoid this miserable piece of rubbish. (and don’t come crying to me when it happens to you too.)
