Customer Review: Batteries Fail within 20 Shots
I ordered this camera from Amazon and it failed to arrive in post. Contacted Amazon and they were terrific and shipped another unit immediately. The camera arrived and appeared to perform OK. Within 20 shots it said the batteries were low so I replaced them. Second set of batteries faired no better. Checked for problems with this camera on Web and I found this battery issue is a common reported fault. Returned camera as unfit for purpose.

Can’t fault this camera for the money. Don’t know what people are going on about the battery life. I bought 4xAA 2500mAH Ni-Mh and a recharger for ?10 and was amazed how long each set last. Camera only needs two AA batteries so I always have a spare set charged up. Took 70 shots during the day and another 25 at night using flash and infa-red and still had power left from just one set of batteries. Don’t know what alkaline batteries are like but don’t really care, wouldn’t use them in a digital camera of any type. This camera is simple to use but is also full of amazing features. Get yourself a good set of rechargable’s and you have a bargin.

I only got the bag last week, but feel quite pleased with the purchase. The design seems to be quite well thought out in terms of compartments and exterior. It is not very flashy and therefore does not advertise your camera in an unwanted way, unlike cases made by camcorder producers. The bag is just right for my compact Sony ‘52′, but others may not fit, so do check interior and exterior dimensions provided with Product Information.

Usual top quality camera bag from LowePro. Everything works perfectly, with smooth running zips and thoughtful little design touches like the microfibre cleaning cloth and memory card pouch. My Panasonic FZ18 fits perfectly inside and I know it will be totally protected.
