I received this camera for Christmas. I was a little anxious when I saw the box of instructions but then realised that only half were in English and I could dispose of the rest. I have never had a digital camera before but the instructions were easy to follow, the camera was easy to operate and produced great pictures with very little effort from me. I would definately recommend it.

I got this camera with hardly any experience with photography, and I had no troubles learning how to use it, so I definitely recommend it. If you’re looking for a cheap party camera, then look somewhere else - the A630 is a bit too bulky and big to be good for that. It’s also quite expensive, but worth it in my opinion. The different settings are brilliant. From landscape to macro, with underwater, fireworks and several others in between. I especially recommend the macro setting. I have some incredible insect pictures from less than a centimetre away. Also it has a stitch-assist function, which means that you can take several pictures of a landscape, for instance a city skyline, and then stitch them together on the computer to make one big picture. The battery life is pretty good, and it’s very handy that you can get AAs everywhere and you don’t get stuck in some exotic place with no batteries left. All in all, I heartily recommend this camera!
