The Cyber-Shot DSC-W200 has a built-in face detection mode that improves focusing on your subject for more realistic results. Furthermore, the scene modes let you quickly adjust the camera to suit your needs at any given time. The built-in editing tool is really useful for making last minute changes and getting the quality you’re after, while the musical slideshow mode lets you show off your creations in attractive presentations. Finally, if you want to view your photos on a high-definition television, this camera has a Full HD output that is adapted to such equipment (HD cable not provided). Going beyond the limits of compact photography, the Cyber-shot DSC-W200 won’t cease to amaze you!
Customer Review: repairs
I think all purchasers of Sony Digital cameras should be aware of their repair policy. Having purchased a Sony camera I was annoyed to find that, when it failed a short while out of guarantee, the minimum cost of repair was in excess of ?100. Add to that a massive handling charge which was payable even if I didn’t accept a repair. I think all purchasers of Sony products should be aware of this and base whether it is worth purchasing a Sony camera on the fact that if it goes wrong - even after a short period outside of guarantee they will have to consign it to the rubbish bin. The camera had been used on no more than six to eight occasions.

Digital Imaging Training is a suite of four interactive tutorials covering digital cameras, scanners, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat. It’s aimed squarely at beginners, so if you’ve spent any time using a digital camera or scanner, or have browsed through the Photoshop or Acrobat application manuals, you’re probably already beyond the scope of this package. If, on the other hand, you’ve started a new job which requires you to scan in pictures, do a little retouching add some text and turn it into an Acrobat pdf, this could be just what you need–particularly if the only scanner you’re familiar with is the one at the local supermarket.
Each tutorial is divided into chapters and you can view the entire chapter, or just pick the bits that interest you. General concepts are covered and specific hands-on topics are explained using animated screenshots where you are asked to participate by making menu and toolbox selections. The quality of the screenshots is in some cases quite poor, and while this isn’t generally a problem, in those tutorials where the object is to improve the quality of the images this can be a real hindrance.
Knowledge reviews at the end of each session test what you’ve learned by getting you to perform menu and tool selection tasks, then score your performance. Digital Imaging Training provides a gentle introduction to digital imaging for the complete novice, but if you want to go further you’ll need to consider a specialist book on one of the four areas covered.–Ken McMahon

Customer Review: Digital Imaging
These are really for the complete beginner, if you have some experience, like myself, then you will find them too basic and not inter-active enough to stay interested.
