I’ve had this T.V. for 6months now and I am so impressed…I bought it as a present for my PS3 everything about it is just wow,easy to connect, no need for hd-dvd player as my PS3 upscales ordinary dvd and is a blu-ray player, some people have complained its only 1080i but I have watched 1080p and to be honest I can not tell the difference,the difference between my old Sony CRT and PS2 however is HUGE, I’m saving up to by Sony RHT-G800 stand now,then thats me done untrill the PS4 and OLED come out….oh and about flicking through the inputs use the remote menu and pick one…its a lot quicker,you can also cancel the ones you dont use

I bought this TV back in March 2007 5 months later i had to send it off for repair. Now this is bad….A SONY for gods sake I wouldnt of minded if I had spent the money on a rubbish cheap TV from tescos but this was a grand that I spent on a well known manufacturer. I have just got it back after it being away for repair for one month the cost of repair!?!?!?——-?748——–(covered by warranty but this is NOT the point…)

Man they might aswell of given us a new tv I think the only thing they didnt replace was the plastic surround and the remote!

It IS a good tv with regards to picture xbox etc etc, but seriously people think hard when looking at a SONY…man is anything made well these days….

I shall stop moaning now and go and sit in front of my ace(!) tv and wait for it to breakdown again…I just hope it lasts till I get to the end of Bioshock….

Customer Review: OK but TV is a long way out from the wall
Reasonable bracket for the price but your set will end up a long way out from the wall. The bracket itself is approx 10cm deep, add the depth of the TV and your screen will be 20cm or so from the wall. The tilt mechanism is fine in theory but in practise I’ve never used it. I should have bought a slimline bracket instead.

Customer Review: Excellent wall mount
Overall I would rate this wall mount 4 stars. I was impressed with the general quality and price; comparative wall mounts costing in excess of ?100+. The instructions were easy to follow, the installation and setup being intuitive.

The only criticism I would have is the rawl plugs supplied. The instructions advise using a 10mm drill piece to place the plugs; I however found this too large and an 8mm bit too small. Easily fixed with either purchasing higher quality plugs from the local hardware store or a simple piece of card around the plug to pad it out.

Apart from that the mount is superb, not a problem in mounting my Sony 32″ and has sufficient room for cabling, HDMI, SCART and Ariel, very impressed.

Customer Review: first class
Had to replace our old sony tv after 12 years, decided to stick with sony and I am so glad we did, the tv looks good, the picture and sound are fantastic, easy to operate, Dvds are great on this tv, just like being at the pictures!! If I had to recommend a tv it would have to be this one 5/5, just hope it lasts as long as the old one!! Dont buy a SHARP it is just rubbish, for that extra money its definetly worth buying a sony.

As this is my first LCD T.V its hard for me to compare quality. The picture is excellent and when HD dvds are viewed the colours are simply fantastic. I was one of the lucky ones to get this tv for ?399 from Woolies and all i can say is it was the best bargain i have every bought. If you are struggling to find a cheap, LCD T.V… this is the one for you!
