What cover do I have for using my car abroad?
All of our motor insurance polices provide the minimum level of cover that is required to enable you to drive in:
Any country which is a member of the European Union and
Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Croatia
They also give you the same level of cover that you enjoy in the UK (e.g. Fully Comprehensive) for trips of up to 30 days to these countries.
If you are to use your car in excess of 30 days for any one trip in these countries or you are visiting any other countries, you would need to contact us before you travel, get our written agreement to extend cover and pay any additional premium requested.
