Study finds car insurance cheaper, hospitals losing money

What if my vehicle is not kept at my home address?
The vehicle must usually be kept overnight at your home address. If this is not the case, please call us on 0800 99 1066 for a quotation.
What do I do if my vehicle is not kept on my driveway or in my garage overnight?
If your vehicle is parked anywhere other than on your drive or in your garage when it is at your home address e.g. in a nearby car park or compound, you should select the “Road” option.
How do I know whether the security devices fitted to my vehicle are acceptable to you?
If your vehicle is fitted with one or more security devices detailed below, please select the relevant description on the quotation. If your vehicle is not fitted with any security device or one that is not detailed below, please select “None”.
Alarm - the device must be an electronic car alarm and must be in working order.
Immobiliser - the device must be an electronic immobiliser that is activated either remotely or when the key is removed from the ignition and must be in working order. Many car manufacturers fit these devices to their vehicles as standard.
Mechanical immobilisers, such as a steering wheel or gear box lock, do not qualify.
Tracker - the device must be a vehicle tracking device that is fully operational at all times, when your vehicle is parked and left unattended.
Any security device you select will be a condition of your policy. If you are in any doubt as to whether your security device complies, please either do not select an option or call us on 0800 99 1066 for assistance, otherwise it could invalidate your cover in the event of a claim.
