Elton John: Elton 60 - Live At Madison Square Garden [Blu-ray]
Customer Review: Elton John: Elton 60 - blu-ray
The disc is a very good example of Elton’s history. He has 33 songs on this album, from early to late.

Customer Review: Blue-Ray
I was disappointed in the video picture quality for this Blue-Ray title. It look like a 480P DVD picture. The Dolby 5.1 audio sound was another disappointment; thin sounding, no punch. They didn’t use DTS 5.1 audio sound. Why?

Customer Review: Remove any Donald Rumsfeld from your life
The ex-Secretary of Defense is now most famous for his quote about knowledge. “…as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns — the ones we don’t know we don’t know.” . When I started thinking about renovating my house and building an extension I had very few known knowns. After using the Housebuilder’s Bible as a guide I now have no unknown unknowns and very few known unknowns. I and know how to know those. So, if you’re building or thinking of building and you feel an outbreak of Donald Rumsfeld is imminent; buy this book !
Customer Review: Essential reading for self-builders and project managers
Despite having no previous building experience, we have been building and/or project managing the build of our house for the past 2 years: see www.timval.com for a diary of the build. Mark Brinkley’s Housebuilder’s Bible has proven to be invaluable. It provided us with sufficient technical information to allow us to select, negotiate with, and manage our architect and tradesmen. It gives realistic estimates of the main costs incurred, and highlights the potential pitfalls of self-building or project managing a build. There are many books available which delve further into the technical aspects of building, but none draw together the essential points from design to finishes in such a clear and practical way. The Housebuilder’s Bible is the most useful tool you can buy if you are thinking of self-building or managing the renovation or new build of your own house.

Following the successful formula of their eponymous debut album, Savage Garden’s Affirmation is made up of classic pop melodies and sleepy ballads. The title track cracks open the album–a song that sees Hayes philosophising about the inequalities of the world from a liberal minded perspective (and in true Alanis Morissette “Ironic” fashion). Although it leaves the boys open to claims of pretentiousness, the song is a high-powered introduction to an album which somehow manages to alternate between safe and risky. For example, “The Animal Song” is a menagerie of popular music sounds, which manages to be challenging while remaining comfortably familiar. Affirmation is an album that affirms why Savage Garden are one of the world’s most important pop duos. –John Galilee

Customer Review: one of the best
My sister originally was the fan of these guys, but after listening to her albums when i was a teenager, i came across Savage Garden and have owned this album and their first one for years. i can become bored with a lot of albums quickly, but i still love this one even now. The songs are different to any out there and my favourite is ‘i knew i loved you’ it’s so romantic, and is how love feels. my friend had it as her wedding song recently, and it fitted perfectly. Their words can be clearly heard and i just cant praise this album enough! it’s not too late for u to love them too. Savage Garden may be gone, but thanks to music like this, they will certainly never be forgotton.
Customer Review: No doubt, Savage garden rocks!
okay before you start yawning,i think these guys have got the best singiong voice ever! I still cant shake off the feeling of “Truly,madly,deeply,”……..that song is so deep and hauntingly beautiful! “Crash and burn” my fav on the Affirmation album is also another masterpiece plus “two beds and a coffee mahine” and of course ‘I knew i loved you”.
