Customer Review: Fantastic Concert - brought to life with Blu-Ray
Wow, where do I start. I initially bought the normal DVD version of this concert and was impressed with it. The concert itself is amazing and the whole show is stunning and action packed from start to finish. I got a blu-ray enabled laptop with true HiDef screen so thought I would buy the Blu-Ray version of the concert. Boy, am I glad I did!! The quality is absolutely amazing. The sound is perfect and there is such a massive difference in the visual quality. If you have the original DVD, a Blu-Ray player and HiDef TV and like JT, I URGE you to get this disk. You will NOT be dissappointed, I promise you that.
Customer Review: Amazing, entertaining show!
After seeing this show live in Birmingham I think this Blu-Ray does a superb job of recreating the feel and vibe from the live show. The concert is varied and well paced, with a good song selection. I would say its longer than your average pop concert too. I particularly like the extended “mixes” that they do on a few of the songs. Thankfully these extended songs are not boring or self indulgent, they really are cool and I find myself skipping back to them because they are that good. On this Blu-Ray version I’m tempted to say its the best show off disc yet. The picture and sound are almost flawless. It looks VERY sharp. Better than almost any other Blu-Ray I’ve ever seen. My one negative comment would be that there are multiple cameras used to cover this concert and in my opinion, whilst all appear HD the main central camera gives you an even crisper brighter shot than the wider angle, edge of the stage cameras. Still 95% perfect though on the image. Sound is well placed, no much stereo separation but again, very high production costs throughout.
