Customer Review: A great introduction to contemporary celtic music
“Once in a red moon” is a symphony for instruments and voice, echoing hebraic and medieval, celtic and spanish musicalities. The elegiac theme in “Awakening” is resumed and varied all along the album, finally ending with dramatic tones of requiem in “Elegie”. Two other compositions stand out from the instrumental part: the energetic “Invitation”, a record of joyous sonority and beating effect, and “Fairytale”, a musical ballad with trobadoric rhythm. The vocal part is dominated by “You raise me up”, where Irish voices of Belfast singer Brian Kennedy and Anúna choir are called to illuminate the spirituality of the lyric, and “Gates of dawn”, where the powerful, Gaelic melodiosity of Scottish singer Karen Matheson is transposed in a solo performance in English language. Definitely a gem. The included booklet about album making is a masterpiece in its genre.

Customer Review: Fun for toddler
I bought these for my two year old who is a recent In The Night Garden fan. They are fantastic. Admittedly the box arrived a bit worse for wear (I am in Australia) but it still holds the books when it needs to. My daughter carries the books everywhere. Stops, sits down to read them, waves them around in one hand, lines them up to count to 6 or turns them over to complete the puzzle on the back. For a few dollars she has had hours of fun already. Highly recommend!

These books were very popular with my one year old who loves all things night garden. So much so that after a few months of reading they have literally fallen apart. Also each book is very short and I think you get more value from some of the other pocket library collections. Nice stories for littles ones but not sure about their value to language development; ‘Runny grobbles…..?’

I bought this for my 2 year old nephew. He is a BIG fan of in the night garden and loves iggle piggle (or pigglepiggle as my nephew calls it). Iggle piggle goes everywhere with him - I can safely say that it is most definitely favorite toy right now. It makes lots of typical iggle piggle noises and sings a few songs, the blanket is detachable so you might have to keep an eye on it to save it from getting lost. Because it is plush it is prone to getting a bit grubby - but then again that doesn’t seem to bother my nephew. We not tried cleaning it so I can’t say how successful that would be.

The Goodies were in most people eye’s a kids version of Monty Python - (including John Cleese)- zany, groovy! wacked out silliness! And bloody funny! Grab these discs while you can- (know this is the LWT series) but the BBC in their wisdom left the original films to literally rot in the archives and not many episodes survive. Even the bbc dvd releases are rumoured to have been put together after they sought out collectors and remastered old videoed episodes for their release as they didn’t have the originals. So unless they do this to the other ‘old video copies’ doing the rounds on P2P shares- it’s going to be hard to see this classic comedy in it’s entirety on dvd unless you show an interest and buy the dvd’s. Bring back those memories-

This is the only official complete series of the ‘GOODIES’,and contains the usual mixed bag of out-and-out gems, with one or two reheated themes……..overall, the standard is high enough to warrant purchase; picture/sound quality is fine, gag-quota is high, with many elaborate visual stunts of which this team is celebrated. One episode: ‘HOLIDAY’ –is studio-only, which affords textured interplay within the team. Apparantly, this series of 7 25-min shows reportedly cost as much as the entire BBC output of 70 shows…..GO FIGURE! VISUALLY impressive as ever, with only token ITV ‘forced laughter’ from the studio audience. This show translates to the commercial channel far better than other COMEDY exports. —-FINE.

In principal this is a great idea , the problem is the battery is too small and runs out after 10-15 mins , so if you have a hedge that you can cut in that time great but for most people, I think there are better machines out there , even if they cost more money. I landed up returning mine.

You may not have the space to keep chickens in your back garden if you live in a town but this charming chicken is the next best thing.
